Installing Mirai Chat

  1. Download from this site
    Check that the address is https://chat.mirai.com.au/get, then tap Download. The file is an Android package (.apk).
  2. Review Android's prompts
    Open the downloaded file. Android may ask you to allow this browser to install apps. Keep Play Protect enabled and review any warning before continuing. If it reports harmful software, stop and contact support.
  3. Install, then restore the setting
    If you allow installation from this browser, turn that permission off again after installing. On a managed phone, ask your administrator if installation is restricted.
  4. Open Mirai Chat & sign in
    Use the workspace address, username and password from your invite.
Samsung Auto Blocker: This can prevent direct APK installation. If you choose to temporarily turn it off to install Mirai Chat, turn it back on immediately afterwards. You can also use Mirai Chat in your browser.
